Our Team.
Lavender Lodge is a family owned care home. Both owners have been working in social care for over a decade and have extensive knowledge of owning a care home. Lavender Lodge has been owned and operated by the same family since August 2015.
Manager:
Our Manager has risen up the ranks and finally achieved her goal of becoming the Manager of Lavender Lodge. She prides herself in delivering person-centered dementia care. She has a wealth of experience in dementia care which she uses everyday to ensure the best outcomes for people using our service.
Care Team:
All our staff are highly qualified with many holding NVQ levels 2 & 3 in Health & Social Care. All our staff undertake extensive training and are enrolled in an award winning training platform.
We know that the leadership of the home is critical to all its operations. We aim for a management approach which creates an open, positive and inclusive atmosphere, where we can offer appropriate assistance and support to our residents and staff.
Operations Manager:
Lavender Lodge is supported by our Operations Manager, Gillian Carter.
Gillian's role is supporting the Home Manager and the Management team at Lavender Lodge. Gillian has a background of managing care homes in Sussex. She previously trained as a Registered Nurse and has also worked with various hospitals and healthcare companies, both in the UK and overseas.
Her focus is to collaborate with the team to ensure that we put our residents at the centre of everything that we do & to enable our residents to be able to live a fulfilling life with a true sense of community and involvement.
In her free time, Gillian loves to spend time with her family and she enjoys photography, walking, gardening, and yoga.
Group Compliance Manager:
Our Group Compliance Manager, Beverley, is a Registered General Nurse who works together with home management to ensure we provide the highest quality of care & service. We want everything we do at Lavender Lodge to be driven by the needs and aspirations of our residents. We are committed to achieving our aims and objectives and we welcome the scrutiny and comments of our residents, families and others.
